CELEBRATE 25 YEARS OF THE SJÖGREN SYNDROME ASSOCIATION

On December 16, 2021, we will celebrate 25 years of the Sjögren Syndrome Association. To mark this event, we are offering you the opportunity to join for a longer period, thus providing you with a substantial reduction.

For 1 year / $30 - 2 years / $50 - 3 years / $70 - 4 years / $85 - 5 years / $100.

In addition, following a request expressed by several members, it is now possible to pay your membership fee or any document by Interac e-Transfer. Contact us to obtain the necessary information. Payment by check is always accepted.

By renewing your membership, you allow the Sjögren Syndrome Association to pursue its mission which is defined as follows:

• Support people with Sjögren syndrome;
• Develop information tools for patients, the population and health care workers;
• Encourage medical research;
• Raise awareness of Sjögren's syndrome in order to promote its screening for rapid diagnosis, better treatments and follow-up.

The importance of support and self-help groups

Support and self-help groups offer members and their loved ones the opportunity to meet people who are going through a situation similar to theirs. These meetings allow participants to share their concerns, worries and questions. It is also a place where we exchange advice, tips and strategies to understand and overcome the difficulties encountered.

Volunteering

People interested in donating time and energy can do so for different tasks. Your responsibility as a volunteer will vary depending on the role you are willing to fill as well as the time you wish to devote to it.
